Terms and conditions of use

Northern Art Photos 2153883-8 (henceforth online store) sells products to private persons and companies within Finland. We reserve the right to change our terms of service and prices. The product prices contain 24% VAT (Value added tax).

Ordering

Ordered products are chosen on the online store by adding them to the shopping cart. The order is sent by paying for the contents through the online store's payment processors. By making the order, you agree to these terms, prices and shipping fees. If an email address is provided, a confirmation of the order is sent to it. The confirmation will contain a list of the ordered products and prices.

The transaction is between the online store and the customer. The online store is responsible for all obligation related to the transaction.

Available payment processors are: Visma Pay and PayPal. More information available here

Delivery times

Orders are processed and shipped during working days. Inventory product delivery times are usually 3-5 working days. Made-to-order products delivery times are approximately 1 work week, with the exception of framed pictures, Canvas prints (Premium 3D) and wallpapers, for which the delivery time is approximately 2 work weeks.

Shipping method and fees

Shipping fees are determined by the selected shipping method, possible extra services and package weight and size. Shipping fees include all posting and packaging fees. The customer will see the shipping fees on the online store's checkout before final confirmation of the order. Canvas-pictures and other large products will be shipped with Matkahuolto. This will allow cheaper shipping prices and faster shipping time. If you've selected Posti for shipping method and you have canvas-pictures or other large products in your order, shipping method will be changed for Matkahuolto. Currently Posti does not ship large boxes that are mandatory for larger products. Even normal size pictures would cost 3-4 times more than with Matkahuolto.

All products are packed appropriately to ensure their safe arrival.

Products from the customer's photos

We check every picture sent before production. If the picture has insufficient quality, we will inform the customer about that. If the picture's quality etc. is insufficient, the customer has an opportunity to change it. We will provide the necessary information on picture quality etc. to the customer directly. Customer is obliged to ensure proper rights for using images in their order. Northern Art Photos is not responsible for lost images or expenses occurred by that.

Exchange and refund policy

The customer has a right to a 30 day exchange or refund period. The refund policy only applies to products still in their original packaging, unused and in marketable condition. The refund policy does not apply to made-to-order pictures (sizes that are not on the catalog). Companies do not have a consumer protection law -compliant right to a refund policy. We wish the customer makes a reclamation claim before returning the product, either by email asiakaspalvelu@artphotos.fi or by phone 044 2399 856. The customer will receive instruction on returning the product.

Remember, products from the customer's photos do not have a refund policy, unless there is a production flaw.

Attention!

Reclamation are made to our business partner, Artshop Finland Oy.
Attach the following to your reclamation claim:

Your customer number, name, address and phone number
Your bank account number
A copy of the dispatch note or order confirmation

You can return the product without fees by using the post office's customer service form (available form Posti). Package the return product carefully, because we will only refund intact products. The product's cost will be refunded to your account once we have assessed the product to be in marketable condition. Returns will be sent to this address:

We will not cover the costs of cash-on-delivery returns. We also do not cover the costs of any other kind of postage.

Once the returned product has been accepted, the cost will be refunded directly to your account after receiving and processing the returned product.

Announcements of incorrect or defective products should be done within 14 days of receiving.

Incorrect shipping address

The post office returns packages with an invalid address. If the customer provides, for example, the incorrect post code, we will charge the fees incurred from returning and resending.

We reserve the right to change our terms of service and shipping. The customer must familiarize themselves with the terms in each case. Northern Art Photos handles all customer information confidentially and is bound to obey the conditions defined in privacy and conditions statement.

For the purpose of product delivery, the shipping address declared by the customer is forwarded to the makers, who are responsible for delivery to the customer. The product makers are also bound to follow our conditions: The customers personal data is only used for product delivery.

The customer can, at any time, ask to know what information we have registered and ask for part or all of the information to be removed/modified.

The online store has a judicial responsibility for quality control. In reclamation cases we ask the customer to be in contact with our customer service. The customer has a right to take possible disputes to the commercial dispute court.
