Harri grew up in Kemijarvi, which is how Pyhatunturi and Lapland became so familiar to him on his photography trips. After studying in Kuusamo, the Kuusamo region is also well represented in his image collections. His sporting career once took him all around the world, and he has built up a substantial photo collection spanning a very wide area.
